Brooklyn Beckham was concerned Nicola Peltz might back out of their marriage and leave him the morning of their wedding.

The Transformers actor received numerous texts from the son of former football great David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham urging her to walk down the aisle.

The multibillionaire heiress revealed her husband’s worry that she wouldn’t show up for their wedding during a conversation with a US local magazine as she recalled her own wedding day.

“Our one night apart last year was the night before the wedding,” she said. “We were panicking. He was texting me the day of the wedding asking ‘Are you walking down the aisle? Are you walking down the aisle?”

She continued by saying that she was too preoccupied with shooting shots in her stunning Valentino outfit to check her phone.

Beckham was concerned when Peltz stated she checked her texts after taking pictures and discovered she was running late for their special day.

“I was like, ‘I have to go walk down the aisle’. Brooklyn had texted, ‘What are you doing? Are you ready?’ I was like ‘Yes, I’m going to walk down. Don’t worry. I love you,” she added.

In other parts of the interview, Peltz claimed that despite being in a committed relationship, they still fight as other couples do.

“Every relationship has its disagreements. No relationship is perfect. And when you’re so close to someone and they know everything about you, it’s inevitable to have disagreements,” Peltz explained.
