An Australian federal judge dismissed the case by Kanye West against an Australian burger restaurant.

In a complaint filed in October of last year, the troubled rapper claimed that College Dropout Burgers in Victoria had exploited his 2004 album’s title without his consent.

The rapper also charged that the fast food restaurant utilized deceptive branding to link itself to the celebrity and his brand.

The Australian local media reports that the Melbourne-based Federal Court of Australia rejected the West lawsuit.

Lawyers for Mark Elkhouri, the proprietor of the eatery, asserted that Ye had repeatedly ignored them and had “no genuine interest in this process.”

West had “commenced proceedings with all guns blazing,” according to Justice Shaun McElwaine, but did not take any further action.

According to ABC, neither the plaintiff nor his new legal representation was present in court today.

Elkhouri appeared in court sporting a T-shirt with the statement “I Am Not Kanye West” on it.

He expressed his relief that the case was resolved to reporters while also expressing his continued admiration for Ye’s past work.

“There were some very, very hard times in my life that [West] kind of helped me through, whether it was his previous albums and the type of message,” Elkhouri added.

Speaking on the Donda rapper’s controversial behavior, “This Ye character – I don’t know who he is. I don’t support him.”
