Killers of the Floor Moon, a new movie by Martin Scorsese, has received a lot of praise from Leonardo DiCaprio, who called it a “masterpiece.”

The Oscar-winning costume designer for the movie, Jacqueline West, said, “I was talking to Leo about it. We had lunch before I came here. He said, ‘Jackie, I think we worked on a masterpiece.’

I thought for Leo to say that, was something. He doesn’t say that lightly. He has been in the business since he was a little boy.”

The megastar and West collaborated on the highly acclaimed film The Revenant.

The movie, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, is based on a true story of native Osage people who were killed when freshly found oil deposits in Oklahoma in the 1920s.

The crime/drama picture has a rumored budget of over $200 million, making it the experienced director’s most expensive venture.
