Last of Us The most popular HBO program, Game of Thrones, had a violent death scene for the character of Pedro Pascal.

Pascal confessed that recording the death sequence for Oberyn Martell on the popular series was so “relaxing” that he actually dozed off.

The 47-year-old actor recently participated in First We Feast’s Hot Ones, a celebrity eating hot chicken wing interview series, and he thought back on the violent scene.

Ser Gregor The Mountain Clegane, played by Hafór Jlus Björnsson, breaks Martell’s head in the 2014 episode, drenching the stone floor in blood.

“There were all of these fleshy bits that they were kind of placing all over my face, and pumping blood so that it would pool, you know, and spread through the amphitheater for this good wide shot of the two of us from above,” Pascal told the host Sean Evans. “And I was dead asleep.”
Pascal added that although it was “so hot” the day they recorded his demise, Björnsson’s blood that was gushing out via the tubes running over his body was noticeably chilly.

According to Pascal, Björnsson was “the gentlest guy ever,” and when the other actor straddled him to murder him, he didn’t even feel it.

“It was very cathartic, and I went into the deepest sleep I’ve been in,” the actor said.
