Dave Grohl attended the 65th Grammy Awards with his wife Jordyn Blum, his children Violet, 16, Harper Willow, 13, and Ophelia Saint, 8, as well as other family members. The 54-year-old artist posed with his family on the red carpet wearing his trademark rock attire, black-rimmed glasses, and a broad smile.

Wife Jordyn, 46, donned a short, sequined black dress with white lace on the off-shoulder top. Violet, the eldest daughter, matched a blazer dress with knee-high boots and red lipstick. Harper wore lug-sole boots with a vintage-inspired flowery dress. Ophelia accessorized with a gold purse.

First Grammys since drummer Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters, Grohl’s closest friend and bandmate, went away in March 2022, were presented on Sunday. Since 1997, Hawkins has served as the group’s drummer.

The Foo Fighters were founded in 1994 by Grohl, a former Nirvana drummer who on Saturday night at The Special Merit Awards received a lifetime achievement award from The Recording Academy. Grohl serves as the group’s lead vocalist and guitarist, while the other members are Pat Smear, Chris Shiftlett, Nate Mendel on bass, Rami Jaffee on keys, and Nate Mendel on guitar.

With career highlights including collecting 15 Grammy Awards and being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the storied rock band has gone on to become one of the most successful rock bands of all time.

It continued, “Foo Fighters were formed 27 years ago to represent the healing power of music and a continuation of life. And for the past 27 years our fans have built a worldwide community, a devoted support system that has helped us all get through the darkest of times together. A place to share our joy and our pain, our hopes and fears, and to join in a chorus of life together through music.”

“Without Taylor, we never would have become the band that we were–and without Taylor, we know that we’re going to be a different band going forward,” the message continued.

“We also know that Taylor valued his followers just as much as they valued him. And we are confident that he will spend every night with us in spirit when we meet you again, which we will do shortly “The band gave a final sign-off to the message.
