Mir Shakil is in the custody of National Accountability Bureau (NAB). However, he is now being treated in the Services Hospital, receiving the VVIP facilities.

The hospital is doing unnecessary medical tests of Mir Shakil, the medical treatment was possible in the jail but he is violating the rules of jail.

Later, doctors at the services hospital had declared Mir Shakil healthy, however as soon as the accused reached the jail he again acted as being sick.

The action was taken on the plea of Asad Khiral. The plea stated that why and on whose order the accused was hospitalized for 135 days.

The application to put the accused’s name in the Exit Control List and to include his family members into investigation has also been made by Asad Khiral.

According to the details, Shakil was sent to jail on judicial remand by the Accountability Court, Lahore on April 28, but he was soon shifted to the hospital. The accused Mir Shakil has been living in the VIP room of the services hospital, and with the help of the hospital administration, Mir Shakil has also been using VVIP room no 2 of the hospital.
