Pakistan begins extracting plasma to treat COVID-19 patients

The process of extracting Plasma from the blood of recovered patients of COVID-19 have been commenced under passive immunization to help treat coronavirus patients.

According to Dr. Tahir Shamsi, he and his team have started taking plasma of coronavirus patients for treatment from today after the federal and provincial governments have approved trials for plasma therapy for COVID_19 treatment.

Plasma therapy is a process in which extracting plasma from the blood of a person who has been recovered from the COVID-19, and giving it to those patients who are critically ill.
