The purpose of registering your vehicle is to maintain a link between a vehicle and its owner or the user. This link might be used for taxation or crime detection purposes.
Every vehicle you see on the road is uniquely identified by its identification/registered number. It is the rule in almost every country that a registered vehicle can only have the registration plate and certificate.
Here is how you can register your vehicle.
Original Purchaser of the Unregistered Vehicle
- In case of registration in the name of the original purchaser
- Application for registration of vehicle – Form-F
- Copy of National Identity Card of Owner (In case of an individual)
- Original Sales Certificate of Vehicle
- Original Sales Invoice of Vehicle
- Payment of registration fee, number plate fee and other leviable taxes

- In case of registration in the name of the original purchaser
- Application for registration of vehicle – Form-F
