Russia started massive military exercises involving the military troops of several allies on Tuesday.

According to details, troops of different nations performed military exercised during the inaugural ceremony of the event, which will last through Saturday.

According to ISPR, the purpose of these latest drills is to work on using groups of armed forces in solving issues of fighting international terrorism and ensure military security in the strategic direction of Central Asia.

The opening ceremony of the military drill was attended by senior military officials of all participating countries.

According to the military’s media wing the exercise centre aims at evolving drills of the participating armies in the fight against international terrorism ensuring security and stability in the region.
