16, who were arrested for burning a teen girl alive in Bangladesh have been sentenced to death by the court.

According to an International news source, the court sentenced 16 people to death for the murder of 19 year old Nusrat Jahan after refusing to withdraw a sexual harassment complaint against the head teacher of the seminary she attended.

The incident took place in April last year, in which, Nusrat Jahan suffered severe burns and died in hospital five days later on April 10, few days after the killers set Nusrat Jahan on fire.

Murderers pressurized Nusrat Jahan to take the case back, Police stated.
