British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew has said that visit of British Royal couple to Pakistan will help promoting historic relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

According to details, British High Commissioner said in his video message on the arrival of the British royal couple that the arrival of the British royal couple is a link between the two countries.

He said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will meet people belonging to all walks of life during their stay in Pakistan.

The High Commissioner also said that Prince William and his wife would also visit Pakistani youth while visiting Lahore and the Northern areas of Pakistan.

The British Royal couple Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton will land in Pakistan on Monday to undertake an official visit that will last till 18th October.

The visit will mark Royal couple’s first trip to Pakistan

Communications Secretary to the Queen Donal McCabe said in a statement that the Royal Highnesses of Cambridge will undertake an official visit to Pakistan between Monday 14th and Friday 18th October.

The statement further said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are looking forward to building a lasting friendship with the people of Pakistan.

Earlier on September 20 the Kensington Palace had confirmed the visit and Tweeted “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend a special event at the Aga Khan Centre on 2nd October, hosted by His Highness the Aga Khan. “

“The event falls ahead of TRH’s official visit to Pakistan, which will take place between 14th to 18th October.”
