Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan has reached the U.S. for his official visit. He was given a warm welcome at the White House.

U.S. President Donald Trump has said in his meeting with Tayyip Erdogan that they have been friends for a long time and they understand each other.

Donald Trump has mentioned that a $100 billion trade deal can be signed with Turkey, they will highlight their trade relationship very much.

A meeting was organized at White House which Erdogan had attended. Five Republican Senators, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilber Ross also attended the session.

A reporter asked Trump about the F-35 program in this meeting. Donald Trump responded that they are negotiating with the Senators, there are many alternatives. They will do some work.

The U.S. President has said that they will exchange their views on the purchase of Russian S-400 defense missile from Ankara.

It should be remembered that the meeting was called in Washington to control the rising conflicts between both NATO allies on Syrian policies and the purchase of Russian Defense missile.

Apart from that, the protesters have condemned outside White House over Erdogan’s visit to the U.S. and have emphasized Trump to protect the Kurds who warn Turkey’s intervention in Syria.
