Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has stated that Iran has successfully overtaken its enemies in political, military and security war that has arisen against the nation.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has stated this on Tuesday at a gathering in which activists of the field of economy and businesspersons were present.

The protests that were organized against the increased prices of petrol were security matters which people did not do. Turmoil in the country has been spread in the face of increasing petrol prices.

Khamenei has mentioned that we have pushed back our enemies in security, political and military war, we have defeated our enemies in various fields, and we will decisively defeat them in economic war by the grace of God.

It should be remembered that the protests against the increased petrol prices were intensified in previous days. 36 people had died in the clashes between police and the protestors.

Security forces started a direct fire over the protestors in different cities to disperse them and have also used tear gas. Whereas, the protestors have set government property on fire. Police had also arrested several protestors.

It should be remembered that the President of Iran Hassan Rouhani had warned that the chaos and unrest will not be tolerated in the country at all. The protestors and the losers will have to be reckoned with.
