A spate of rape incidents in India, 15-year-old girl was raped and set blaze in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

According to details, a 15-year-old girl was raped and set on fire blaze after sprinkling kerosene on her.

Senior Police officer Alok Kumar Jaiswal said that the girl was burnt to death by sprinkling kerosene after rape and the girl has suffered 80 per cent burn injuries.

He further said the offender has been arrested while the victim has been taken to a hospital for medical help.

It is pertinent to mention here that according to a poll of global experts India is the most dangerous country in the world for women due to high risk of sexual violence.
