UAE President orders to relieve 674 Inmates before 48th National Day
UAE is celebrating 48th International Day on 2nd December 2019 and this incident can be lucky for some prisoners before the date.
674 prisoners of correctional institutions will be released on the occasion of 48th International Day, as ordered by Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice president and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
According to international media sources, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has ordered to forgive over 674 prisoners in the UAE.
Isaam Al Humaidan, Dubai Attorney General has declared it an act of keenness. He said that Sheikh Mohammed’s decision to forgive prisoners from the correctional institutions on national and Islamic events shows his zeal to make inmates adjust to society again.
He also informed that implementation of the order has begun and Public Prosecution has begun working with Dubai Police to execute the order.
Apart from that, President Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has also issued orders to pardon 662 prisoners. He also vowed to deal with prisoners by settling financial obligations them.
