Big Embarrassment for India, as parliamentarian Vijay Jolly was ousted from a ceremony at the Asia Pacific Summit 2019.

According to details, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri raised the Kashmir issue during his speech at the summit held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Vijay Jolly tried to stop him and erupted commotion during the event.

The security staff expelled the Indian leader from the hall.

It is pertinent here to mention that it is the 107^th day the military lockdown and communications clampdown in India-occupied Kashmir (IoK).

Business activities continue to remain suspended; schools, colleges, and offices also wear a deserted look. Public transport remains by and large off the roads in the held valley.

Aug. 5, 2019, will go down in the constitutional history of India as one of its darkest days. It will be remembered as a day of constitutional aggression where the so-called world’s largest democracy conspired to subjugate 12 million people against their wishes and against even the disputed instrument of accession of the region with India.

Since the imposition of curfew, all hell has been let loose on the innocent people of Jammu and Kashmir. Massive violations of human rights have been reported. Pellet guns, tear gas and bullets are being used on innocent children, women and elderly alike on a daily basis. The youth and political leadership have been put under house arrest. Women are allegedly even being raped by Indian Security Forces in their houses.

Suppressing Kashmiris’ right to self-determination through coercive means will yield no results, and has already proved as a failed strategy for India.
