2 pilots killed in Russian military helicopter crashes

Russia’s military helicopter Mi-28 crashed during a training flight, 2 pilots were killed as a result of the accident.

According to the defense ministry spokesperson says, Mi-28 military helicopter crashed in southern Russia which killed 2 pilots.

The spokesman clarified that MI 28 crashed near Korenovsk (town in Russia) airfield in the Krasnodar area on Tuesday night. The pilots had begun their scheduled training flight despite the inclement weather.

The spokesperson added that no ammunition and rockets were installed in the destroyed helicopter.

A Russian Space Force Commission has been sent to the scene to investigate the crash and its causes.

Mi-28 is a Soviet and Russian fighter helicopter designed to detect and destroy enemy tanks and armored vehicles, as well as air targets.

Remember that the helicopter is designed to work day and night in all weather conditions.
