A teen age Indian girl has died after falling from the 10th floor of a building in Sharjah.

According to details, 15-year-old girl who was a student at a Sharjah-based Indian-curriculum school belonging to a UAE-wide education group, died after falling from the 10th floor of a building in Sharjah, investigations are underway whether if the incident was a case of suicide or not.

The deceased girl hailed from the south Indian state of Kerala.

After the incident were reported the police and paramedics arrived at the scene to find the Indian girl had suffered serious injuries from the fall.

Al Gharb Police Station is investigating the matter that what circumstances were led to the incident.

Police have summoned the parents for questioning while Sharjah prosecutors have ordered an autopsy to be carried out on the girl’s body in the forensic lab.
