An Iranian lawmaker has offered a $3 million reward on President Donald Trump’s head.

According to sources, Iranian lawmaker placed a $3 million bounty for ‘whoever kills Trump’.

Ahmad Hamzeh told Iran’s parliament that ‘on behalf of the people of Kerman province, we will pay a $3 million reward in cash to whoever kills Trump.’

The city of Kerman is the hometown of deceased Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the senior Iranian commander.

A US drone strike ordered by Donald Trump, killed Qassem Soleimani earlier this month.

There is no indication that these proposals are supported by the Iranian government as an official position.

Soleimani was on Jan. 3 when a US drone fired missiles at the truck he was riding in.

Days later, Iran retaliated by launching a barrage of ballistic missiles at US and coalition forces in Iraq.

Around a dozen US troops suffered minor injuries in the attack, with no killings, and both sides have since taken steps away from conflict.

But tensions between Washington and Tehran persist, especially as Iran takes steps to advance its nuclear program in violation of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

The nuclear deal was withdrew by the Trump administration unilaterally from two years ago and began re-imposing economic sanctions.

Earlier, thirty-five people killed and 48 others got injured in a stampede at a funeral of General Qassem Soleimani.

The Iran stampede incident happened in Kerman, the home town of Qassem Soleimani.

According to Iranian state a stampede had broken out and left 35 people dead and 48 injured.

Vast crowd of mourners rushed to the town in south-eastern Iran to catch a glimpse of General Soleimani’s coffin.
