The decision was taken after a review of circumstances, according to Local Government spokesperson Rohit Kansal.

He also informed that broadband internet services will be restored as well in government-run hospitals.

However, the ban on broadband internet and mobile internet services will still prevail for other users.

Insurgents and separatists demanding independence from India may aggravate protests in IOK through the use of the internet, according to authorities.

Given that brutalities in IOK still prevails and people of Kashmir continue to suffer.

Also, protests against citizenship law are being carried out in India, the clashes and ongoing situations have also affected the country’s tourism industry.

According to international news sources, the year 2019 remained devastating for Kashmir people and one of the dramatic political eruptions in Kashmir.

It all started in August when the Indian government made changes in their laws to take over the part of Kashmir it controls.

The law proved cruel to the people as they were deprived of accessing communication; internet, mobile service.

People were also restricted to their homes and they even required medical facilities.

The issue was raised in various international forums, but no privileges were given to the people.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had visited Line of Control, Combine Military Hospital Muzaffarabad, as stated in news yesterday.
