Donald Trump is the first president to attend this rally. He joined the rally during the times of his trial.

Donald Trump also spoke to the protestors at the March for life near the US Capitol.

The concept of this annual rally began in 1974 a year after the US Supreme Court had made abortion legal in Roe v Wade.

Protestors were happy from Trump’s presence.

During the march in Washington, they cheered, “four more years”  “we love you”.

One of the protestors told the international news agency, “I’m not necessarily pro-Trump, but I appreciate that the President of the United States is making the move to be here.”

“Until the day we can see Roe v Wade switched, [the movement] will continue, whether he’s president in the next election or not.”

On the other hand, a financial advisor in St Louis Chuck Raymond said, “Without a doubt, he is the most pro-life, pro-family, pro-religious freedom president we’ve ever had.”

Trump’s presence in the rally has given a positive gesture among few voters.

One of the protestors said, “I really appreciate what he’s doing for us,” “It matters what he thinks about [abortion], and this changed my thinking about him.”

Another person said, “We voted for Trump in the first place because he was the pro-life [anti-abortion] choice, that was our main concern. If his opponent [in 2020] is not pro-life, we’re going to vote for Donald Trump.”
