Police say the car was allegedly set on fire.

Queensland police informed to the international news agency that emergency respondents found kids dead in the car. Children were under the age of 10.

A man known to the victims has also died. Women got sensitive burns. She has been taken to the hospital.

A crime scene has been established by police in the Suburb Street in Camp Hill. Det Insp. Mark Thompson said to media, “It’s a horrific scene,”

He said, “It is very early in the investigation, but the vehicle was fully involved in fire upon police arriving,”

Paramedics said that a passerby was also treated, as he had “tried his best to get to the car”. A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said that he had “facial burns”.

Det Insp. Thompson confirmed that people in the car were locals. Police were first reported at 8:30 local time.

Queensland’s Police Minister Mark Ryan informed the parliament about the incident.

He said, “My thoughts are with all of those affected by this terrible tragedy”,

Federal MP Terri Butler tweeted, “Horrified and devastated by what’s happened at Camp Hill this morning.

My condolences to family, friends and the entire community”.

Residents near the scene reported that a woman was seen jumping out of the car while she was on fire. one of the residents said that she had shouted, “He’s poured petrol on me”.
