KFC store closes in Brisbane on positive virus test
A fast-food chain, KFC has been forced to close one of its Brisbane branch after a worker tested positive for coronavirus.

The KFC store at Deagon, on Brisbane’s northside, displayed signage on its doors which read: “The restaurant is temporarily closed today”.

In a statement, KFC confirmed one of its team members had tested positive for COVID-19.
That team member now quarantined.
All employees who have worked recent shifts with that team member advised to self-isolate.

Collins Foods tumbled more than 16 per cent but clawed back gains to end the day 9.15 per cent, lower to $5.96 each.
While, the broader market rallied 4.4 per cent.
Travel stocks also suffer as Qantas slashed capacity by almost a quarter this week.
Collins Foods added the health and well-being of its team members and customers is its number one priority.

It also seems that the popular brand Kentucky Fried Chicken has come into a bit of heat amid the rapid spread of coronavirus.
While stress on hand-washing increases, KFC had designed a series of advertisements to highlight the deeply satisfying lick.
The lick accompanies one while relishing one of their trademark fried chickens.
According to a report, the ad showed a montage of diners licking their fingers after having food from KFC.
Over 160 people complained to UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) that the campaign was not in good taste.
A spokesperson said that it did not feel like the right time to air the campaign so they decided to pause it.

However, he added that they look forward to bring it back on a later date.
Unfortunately, a number of people got in touch with the advertising watchdog ASA.
They said the promotional clip irresponsible and the behaviours showcased helped increase the chance of the spread of Coronavirus.
The report mentions that ASA is currently investigating the complaints and no investigation has launched yet.
