Saudi Arabia executes Yemini man found guilty of attacking dancers

A 33-year-old Yemeni-born al-Qaeda member Emad al-Mansouri who injured at least three Spanish dancers with a knife during performing at a park in Riyadh , Saudi Arabia’s capital, last year, was executed.

According to the press release issued by Interior Ministry of Saudi Arabia, a 33-year-old Yemeni national Emad Abdelqawi al-Mansouri was executed.

He was sentenced to death in late December, a swift six weeks after the attack in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh in mid-November.

This incident marked as the first since in two years since Saudi Arabia began easing the restrictions on entertainment.

Mansouri has found guilty on charges, including stabbing performers and a security guard, intimidating the public, tampering with national security, creating chaos and terror and attempting to derail entertainment activities in Saudi Arabia.
