WHO warns to lift COVID-19 lockdown gradually

The world health organization asked all countries to lift the lockdown gradually, and boundaries should be relaxed soon.

According to the details, WHO Regional Director for the Western Pacific said that Lockdown measures have proved effective, and people must be ready for a new way of living to allow society to function while the coronavirus is being kept in check.

“Individuals and society need to be ready for a new way of living,” he said.

Earlier on April 15, United Nations Antonio Guterres has asked world nations to support the World Health Organization.

According to the details, UN chief asked the world to support instead of complaining its role against the deadly Coronavirus.

Guterres said in a statement that it was not the time to reduce the resources for the operations of the WHO.

The resources of any other humanitarian organization in the fight against the COVID-19 should not be reduced.
