Saudi Arabia, US discusses regional development and security

Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah exchanged views on regional development and security with the United States (US) State Secretary Mike Pompeo during a phone conversation on Friday.

According to the media report, both officials, also reviewed bilateral relations, the strategic partnership between the United States and Saudi Arabia, and regional and international issues of common concern.

Earlier, in his visit to Washington; Prince Faisal discussed the Saudi-US long-established strategic partnership with Mike Pompeo.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan was in Washington to take part in the meeting of foreign ministers from the global coalition.

Mike Pompeo said “Delighted to meet Secretary Pompeo in Washington, DC. Saudi-US have a long-standing strategic partnership. We affirmed the strong ties between our countries and the joint efforts in confronting terrorism in the region and the world,”
