Emirates red crescent to support different hospitals in Sindh

Mr. Bakheet Atiq Al Remeithi counselor at UAE Consulate, Karachi has signed an agreement on behalf of UAE red crescent to support different hospitals in Sindh.

According to details, the emirates red crescent will particularly support maternity, children, and emergency units. They will provide medical equipment, advanced machinery, and maintenance at the Sheikh Zayed hospital for women and children, Larkana in the province of Sindh.

This is not the first time when Emirates red crescent has launched health projects in Pakistan. The previous year, the Red Crescent has started different health campaigns in Pakistan as part of its development initiatives for the ‘Year of Tolerance’.

The Emirates Red Crescent projects included the restoration of the Kidney Treatment Centre in Khyber Teaching Hospital in Peshawar and gave them ten kidney dialysis machines and other medical equipment. For another project, Emirates Red Crescent had given six dialysis machines to the Institute of Kidney Diseases Hayatabad Peshawar.
