Indian troops martyred 3 more Kashmiri youth in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in a fresh terrorism act. A total of 7 youth has been killed from yesterday. Authorities prevent Muharram processions

According to Kashmir media service, 3 youth have been martyred during a cordon and search operation in the Zadora area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir in the wee hours today. An Indian soldier was also killed earlier in the same area.

IIOJK authorities prevent Muharram processions

Authorities have prevented Muharram gatherings in IIOJK on Friday by imposing strict restrictions across the valley. Several mourners have also been arrested.

Kashmir media services reported that the occupation authorities have further imposed strict restrictions in Srinagar, Badgam, Baramulla, and other areas to stop people from taking out Muharram processions, today. The commercial hub of Lal Chowk and adjoining areas of Srinagar were completely sealed. The Indian troops and police personnel deployed in strength across the occupied territory had blocked main roads by laying barricades and with concertina wires.

However, mourners tried to carry out Muharram processions in Srinagar and other areas. They were seen holding banners and raising slogans “Free Kashmir”. Hurriyat leaders, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Khawaja Firdous, and Yasmeen Raja, denounced the use of brute force on Muharram processions in Srinagar, Badgam and other parts of the Kashmir Valley. They termed the imposition of restrictions by the authorities as interference in the religious affairs of the Muslims, Kashmir media service reported.
