4 died as plane makes emergency landing in Texas

At least four people succumbed to injuries after a single-engine airplane crashed while trying to make emergency landing in Texas.

According to the details, the plane made emergency landing near Hilltop Lakes Stables and crashed in an open field.

The pilot told authorities before the crash that the plane, Piper PA-46 Malibu was having engine problems, reports said.

All four passengers on the plane died on the spot as a result of the crash.

The plane was heading to Natchitoches, Louisiana Regional Airport when it started to have engine issues.

A witness told local media that the plane was flying extremely low to the ground and once the pilot started pulling up the motor stopped turning.

Earlier, seven Turkish security officials had died after their plane crashed into a mountain in the east of the country.

Reconnaissance plane had crashed into Mount Artos, a dormant volcano in the province of Van.
