France Lock-down: The French President has declared a lock-down all over the nation until late November.

As per the statement of the President, the new measure will only let the individuals leave home when they have work or some medical emergency.

All the non-essential businesses including bars and restaurants will be closed whereas schools and workplaces will remain open.

On Tuesday, France has reported almost 33,000 new confirmed cases, Since, April France is estimated to report the highest number of Covid-19 cases.

Mr. Macron has also released a statement regarding the second wave and told the media that the country is “overwhelmed by a second wave that no doubt will be harder than the first”.

However, Germany will also be going on a nationwide lock that will not be as strict as France but will close theatres, gyms, and restaurants.

Coronavirus cases are highly increasing throughout Europe, such as the UK, which reported 310 new fatalities and 24,701 new officially documented cases on Wednesday.

A recent study in England reports that nearly 100,000 individuals currently contract the virus each day, with researchers advising that “something has to change.”

In France, 46 million people are under the curfew whereas many other countries have also started implementing the night curfew to inhibit the virus from spreading.
