The nail-biting race for the votes continues. Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden is leading the polls with 253 votes whereas Trump got 214 votes. 

Both the candidates need to achieve 270 votes from 50 states to lead the election.

Republican Trump has accused Democrats of voting “shenanigans” whereas Biden remains calm.

What did Biden say?

On Thursday, Biden spoke from his campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. He appealed for calm across the country.

He expressed confidence in a televised address that he would win.

“Democracy is sometimes messy,” he said. “It sometimes requires a little patience as well.

 “But that patience has been rewarded now for more than 240 years, the system of governance that has been the envy of the world.”

 He added, “I asked everyone to stay calm. All people to stay calm. The process is working. The count is being completed. And we’ll know very soon.”

‘If You Count Legal Votes I Easily Win’

President Trump gave his first public remarks. He said, “If you count the legal votes, I easily win.

“If you count the illegal votes they can try to steal the election from us.”

However, the President has not presented any evidence of election fraud.
