Saudi Arab Launches New Seasonal Campaign 'Arabian Winter'

The Saudi Tourism Authority has launched ‘Arabian Winter’ from December 10, 2020, to the end of March 2021. The program will continue at 17 tourist destinations in Saudi Arabia.

More than 300 tourist experiences and packages will be offered during the season, a number of exhibitions will be held, featuring more than 200 private sector installations. This new seasonal campaign will be enjoyed by the citizens of the country, the residents and the citizens of the Gulf countries.

The 17 places to be offered for tourism during the winter are Riyadh, Al-Dariyah, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, Hail, Al-Ala, Dammam, Al-Khabar, Al-Ahsa, Jeddah, King Abdullah Economic City, Yanbu, Amalj, Taif, Al-Baha, Asir and Jazan are included.

Ahmed bin Aqil Al-Khatib, Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Management Board of the Saudi Tourism Authority, said that in the winter, both the public and private sectors involved in the Saudi tourism system will offer excellent tourism experiences on their own. Visitors will be able to enjoy the ecological diversity that has made Saudi Arabia so popular this season. In the same way, the enchanting natural landscapes of deserts, sand dunes, barren plains, valleys, beaches and mountainous areas will captivate hearts.

Al-Khatib assured that during all these activities, special care will be ensured regarding protocol containing safety measures and precautionary measures.

On the other hand, the chief executive of the Saudi Tourism Authority, Fahd bin Mohammed Hameed al-Din, said that the efforts of the authority are ongoing and at the beginning of the Saudi winter season, these efforts have been revived under the title “Cold Around You”. In this regard, a prominent partnership is being forged with the private tourism sector. It aims to offer exciting and entertaining tourist experiences and activities in the magnificent winters of the country.
