Post-Brexit trade negotiations have entered their final day and talks will be continued to make a breakthrough.

Both sides are unlikely to reach a post-Brexit agreement.

According to the international news agency, Prime Minister Boris Johnson is likely to speak with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen later.

The source said, “The prime minister will leave no stone unturned in this process, but he is absolutely clear: any agreement must be fair and respect the fundamental position that the UK will be a sovereign nation in three weeks.”

The EU is working to prevent the UK from gaining what it seems like an unfair advantage of enjoying tariff-free access to the markets while presenting its own standards on products, employment rights, and business subsidies.

UK government spokesman said, “We’ve run live exercises moving fresh produce and fish across the border, and scrambled naval vessels to respond to threats of illegal fishing in our soon-to-be sovereign waters.”
