Famed worldwide shoe manufacturing brand Nike has filed a lawsuit against a bizarre pair of “Satan Shoes” containing human blood in the soles.

According to the details, Nike is suing MSCHF Product Studio, linked with Lil Nas X over its creation of Satan Shoes. 

The company said in its statement, “The Satan Shoes were produced without Nike’s approval or authorization, and Nike is in no way connected with this project.”

The famed shoe brand claims trademark contravention as the footwear was made of using modified Nike Air Max 97s. It also features an inverted cross, the famous Nike’s design mark.

The words embedded on the shoe refers to the Bible verse Luke 10:18 – “So He told them, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”

Each shoe features an inverted cross signature of Nike, containing 60 cubic centimetres (2.03 fluid ounces) of red ink and a single drop of human blood.

According to sources, Nike has demanded the court in its lawsuit to stop MSCHF from selling the shoes and bar them from using its popular trademark.

Moreover, the release of these shoes triggered the offended customers who are demanding to boycott Nike over the shoes containing human blood due to their brand swoosh logo.

Satan Shoes Feature Nike’s Trademark

Nike in its lawsuit stated, “MSCHF and its unauthorised Satan Shoes are likely to cause confusion and dilution and create an erroneous association between MSCHF’s products and Nike.”
