Many youngsters have been wounded as Indian troops attacked the protesters with bullets and pellets firing in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

As per the details, the brutal incident had happened in the Shopian district. Indian forces killed a youngster and attacked the houses with explosive materials in the area.

Demonstrations were held against continued search operations in Rawalpora and other areas in IIOJK.

According to the Kashmir media service, more than two dozen youth aged 18 to 22 have been wounded during the clash in the Rawalpora area of the district.

Dr. Nazir Chaudhary, Medical Superintendent SMHS hospital in Srinagar, said that a 22-year-old youth named Arif Ahmed suffered an injury in the left eye.

An official said that search operation is still going on in the area while the firing has now started again today, on the 3rd consecutive day, today.
