Green flag hoisted in occupied Kashmir on Pakistan's Independence Day

The green flag was hoisted in the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day.

According to Kashmir Media Service (KMC), Hurriyat leaders in their message on Pakistan’s Independence Day said that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has always supported Kashmir’s right to self-determination and fought the case of Kashmiris in every international forum.

According to KMC, Hurriyat leaders say that on Pakistan’s Independence Day, the people of Occupied Kashmir pray for Pakistan’s development and prosperity as a strong and peaceful Pakistan is essential for resolving the Kashmir issue.

On the other hand, on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan, the green crescent flag was hoisted in Srinagar despite tight security. Fireworks were also observed in Srinagar and anti-India slogans were chanted.

Meanwhile, the Hurriyat leadership has announced to celebrate India’s Independence Day as Black Day.
