The drill began on Monday in Norway, amid rising tensions between Russia and the West over Ukraine’s incursion.

The HMS Prince of Wales, which is presently serving as Nato’s command ship, has travelled north to the Arctic to take part in the drill, which will involve 30,000 troops, 200 planes, and 50 ships.

The UK’s amphibious contribution to Cold Response is led by RFA Mounts Bay and HMS Albion.
