Terrifying drone film purports to show Russian soldiers shooting a man as he raises his hands in the air.

The disturbing video shows the man coming out of his car and surrendering, but he nearly instantly falls to the ground.

The video was obtained by German broadcaster ZDF.

The outlet reports that the incident appears to have taken place on the afternoon of March 7, on the E40 expressway outside Kyiv.

The footage shows a Russian tank parked near a petrol station while a man in a silver vehicle turns his car around and stops.

He can be seen getting out of the car with his hands up- but a few moments later he drops to the ground after being shot.

The man is seen being approached by Russian soldiers, who subsequently drag his body to the side of the road.

The drone’s operator, a Ukrainian volunteer with the “Bugatti Company,” was interviewed by the site.

He demonstrated the equipment, a Mavic III, and explained that he had been assigned to monitor Russian positions along the E40 motorway.

A woman and a child who were also travelling with the man were subsequently seen being carried into a nearby woodland by soldiers, although it is unknown what happened to them, according to ZDF.
