45 more Ukrainians have free from Russian captivity

45 Ukrainians are returning home as part of a prisoner of war exchange with Russia.

Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporary Occupied Territories, said in a Telegram post, according to Ukrinform.

“Another prisoner swap took happened. 45 of our people were freed from Russian custody today. “There are 13 officers and 20 soldiers among them (five of whom are wounded),” Vereshchuk stated.

12 people have also been released, according to her.

As previously reported, 19 persons, including 10 military personnel, were returned to Ukraine on April 21 as part of the sixth exchange of prisoners of war with Russia.
