The first full Moon of spring 2022 in the northern hemisphere marked the middle of Ramadan, 2022, on Saturday.

It also occurred the day before Easter 2022.

It appeared after dusk. The “Pink Moon” was photographed around the world bathed in subdued orange and yellow light.

The pink moon began on the evening on Friday.

It also determines the date of Easter, which always happens on the first Sunday.

The Easter has started just today, Sunday, 17 April.

This April’s full moon can be termed as “Paschal Pink Moon,” relating to Jewish Passover.

It is called the “Pink Moon,” because of the appearance of wild ground phlox in spring.

There are other names that are used less often for the moon, concerning, “Growing Moon,” “Fish Moon,” “Hare Moon,” in Native American tribes, and “Egg Moon,” in the UK.

The moon will pass across the sun in two weeks. It will cause the first solar eclipse of this year.

A maximum of 54% of the Sun will be obscured by the moon during a special “sunset eclipse.”
