The final of the 2021/22 Champions League is approaching fast, as Europe’s greatest compete in the knockout stages.

The last eight stage of Europe’s most prestigious competition is underway, with participants from the continent’s best teams taking part.

While there are plenty of games scheduled between now and the completion of the season, many fans are hoping to secure a spot in Europe’s biggest contest, the Champions League final.

The 2022 Champions League final will be held in the Stade de France in Paris on Saturday, May 28.The game will begin at 8 p.m. UK time.

The event was originally scheduled to take place at the Gazprom Arena in Saint Petersburg, but UEFA decided to postpone it when Russia invaded Ukraine.

Since 2006, France has not hosted a UEFA Champions League final.

If considered necessary, extra-time will be played, and teams will be able to nominate twelve substitutes and employ a maximum of three, with a fourth allowed if the game lasts more than 90 minutes.

One thing is certain: whoever takes the field in Paris will be well deserving of their place, since the Champions League competition gets tougher by the year.
