Black day on both sides

On the occasion of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOJK) today, the Kashmir Valley is observing Black Day and striking on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) (Sunday).

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference, according to the Kashmir Media Service, has called for a general strike (APHC).

A statement from the APHC stated that Kashmiris reject the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India. On the occasion of Modi’s visit, protests against Indian crimes are expected to take place.

Tanveer Ilyas, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), said that the Indian leadership had put regional peace at risk with their actions.

Protests against India will be held in Islamabad and throughout the autonomous region of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), he said.
