Boris Johnson, the British Prime Minister, stated that the United Kingdom has no objection to Ukraine utilizing the weaponry handed to it against Russian targets. According to Ukrinform, this is the case.

Boris Johnson was asked about his thoughts on Ukraine possibly using British weaponry against targets within Russia, such as an oil depot, in an interview with Talk TV.

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom said that Ukraine has the right to self-defense. He stated, “We don’t want the problem to spread beyond Ukraine’s borders.” “However, as James [Heappey] has stated, the Ukrainians have a right to self-defense. They are being assaulted from within Russian soil, and they have the right to defend and protect themselves.”

UK Minister for the Armed Forces James Heappey told Times Radio the day before that the UK considered it was “absolutely lawful” for Ukraine to designate targets in Russia in order to impede attacks on Ukraine.

Should Britain “continue to incite” Ukraine to attack Russia, the Russian Defense Ministry has promised a “proportional retaliation,” and such attempts will be made. They also stated that having Western consultants in Ukraine’s decision-making centres in Kyiv will not be a problem.
