A man is in hospital after a fire aboard a double-decker bus in Glasgow. The flames caused the closure of several streets of the city’s Renfield Street just after lunchtime.

The First Bus driver and passengers were evacuated. A 54-year-old guy was harmed, but not seriously.

First Bus stated it will assist the emergency services in their investigations.

“The safety and well-being of our passengers, drivers, and the public is our first priority,” she stated.
