Three Chinese astronauts have returned to earth, after experiencing the longest crewed mission till-this-date, on Saturday.

China’s space program has allowed the astronauts to go aboard their country’s newest orbital station.

The live telecast was shown to the public.

The Shenzou 13 space capsule landed in the Gobi desert, in the northern region of Inner Mongolia.

During the mission, astronaut Wang Yaping carried out the first spacewalk by a Chinese woman.

Wang and crewmates Zhai Zhigang and Ye Guangfu beamed back physics lessons for high school students.

China has launched its first astronaut into space in 2003.

It landed robot rovers on the moon in 2013 and on Mars last year.

Now the officials have discussed a crewed mission to the moon in the near future.

The launch of the next Tiangong crew is yet to be announced.

US does not include China in the International Space Station.

It is restless because the space program is conducted by the Communist Party, the People’s Liberation Army.

Tiangong is China’s third space station after forerunner launched in 2011 and 2016.

It was the third nation to launch an astronaut into space.

In 2020, the government announced that China’s first reusable spacecraft had landed, following a test flight.

President Xi Jinping visited the launch site in Wenchang, he told the staff, “Persist in pursuing the frontiers of world aerospace development and the major strategic needs of national aerospace.”
