While cleaning cluster munitions near Kharkiv, three explosives professionals from Ukraine’s State Emergency Service were killed and four others were critically injured.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, confirmed this on Telegram.

“Unfortunately, three explosives specialists were killed and four others were injured while cleaning Russian cluster munitions near Kharkiv. They’ve been admitted to the hospital. In the last 24 hours, the Russians shelled the area, injuring 31 people, including four children. Three persons were killed “he stated

According to him, Russian troops launched 23 fewer artillery, mortar, and MLRS assaults over the last day than in the prior period. They targeted the Pivnichna Saltivka, Piatykhatky, Oleksiyivka, city centre, KhTZ, and Derhachi residential districts. A missile attack, on the other hand, was documented.

The settlement of Izium continues to be the hotspot. Ukrainian troops, according to Syniehubov, are successfully resisting hostile attacks, eliminating enemy equipment and manpower.

Syniehubov also advised citizens to avoid the streets of Kharkiv unless absolutely necessary and to seek refuge in shelters.

“Kharkiv is impregnable to the enemy. Our Armed Forces are holding their ground and making progress in several locations. As a result, the Russians resort to dishonourable shelling of residential areas “he stated
