Over 2,000 buildings in the Kyiv region have been destroyed by Russian soldiers says President's Office

More than 2,000 buildings in the Kyiv region have been damaged as a result of Russian bombardment. According to Ukrinform, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko stated this at a briefing.

“In the Kyiv region, more than 2,000 structures have been destroyed,” the source stated.

He also mentioned that road repairs are proceeding in the region to replace bridges and roads that have been devastated. In the Kyiv region, 170 kilometres of roads have already been cleared, and 11 temporary bridges have been built. The provision of electricity to more than half of the buildings has been restored.

At the same time, he emphasised that mine clearance efforts in the Kyiv region continue, making it illegal to visit recreational spots and forest parks.
