Poland has sent Ukraine around 200 tanks, IFVs, Grad systems, and Gvozdika howitzers after Russian invasion

Since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24, Poland has provided Kyiv with almost 7 billion zlotys ($1.6 billion) in weaponry and ammunition.

According to Ukrinform, which cites Polskie Radio, the issue involves more than 200 T-72 tanks, which can be utilised to equip two tank brigades, 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers, and Grad multiple launch missile launchers.

According to the source, Poland also supplied the Ukrainian army with air-to-air missiles for MiG-29 and Su-27 aircraft, surveillance and Warmate drones made by WB Electronics, and Piorun man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems.

Ukraine received dozens of infantry fighting vehicles as well as a huge quantity of artillery ammunition from Poland.

According to Polskie Radio, Poland was named one of the leaders in terms of military help supplied to Ukraine at a recent conference of Ukraine’s allies at the Ramstein Air Base.
