Russian military have launched 35 air raids on Mariupol’s Azovstal steel complex, where residents are cowering in the basements, in the last 24 hours. A number of bystanders have been hurt.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on the Telegram channel of the Azov Regiment, which is defending Mariupol.
“The Azovstal factory, where the Mariupol defenders are stationed and civilians are sheltering in the basements from bombardment, is under enemy fire. According to the report, 35 air attacks were carried out in the last 24 hours, during which one of the plant’s shops caught fire.
Civilians have been hurt, and several have been trapped under the wreckage, according to the defenders.
Soldiers from the Azov Regiment are administering first aid and attempting to rescue individuals from the rubble.
