US Treasury Secretary, Janet Yellen said that ahe and other finance ministers, quit of G20 meeting on Wednesday, because it was “so offensive.”

She said the meeting with Russia, included the common challenges faced by countries, yet, it cannot be a usual business with Russia.

She departed along with European and other Western officials that participated in the meeting.

She thought that participation in such forums required commitment of countries to obey fundamental norms.

Yellen said that her “decision, along with that of others to leave when the Russian finance minister began to speak, was to make clear that Russia’s behavior, is so offensive to international norms that we’re not willing to allow Russia to participate or to listen to what the Russians have to say.”
